Bowl game weekend!

This weekend the NCAA teams are playing the most important games of the season. ( The ones the mad it). THe biggest games are: BCS National Championship game, Alabama vs. Texas. Also the Rose bowl, Ohio St. vs. Oregon and Sugar bowl Florida vs. Cincinnati. Who do you think will win this weeks bowl games?

Heisman Winner!

Saturday night at Nokia Thetre in Time square the four contestants for the Heisman trophy waited patiently for the announcement for the winner of the award. The four contestants were Tim Tebow, Mark Ingram, Colt Mccoy, and Toby Gerhart. Mark Ingram from Alabama was the lucky player called up to the stand. He was the first player ever in the history of Alabama football history to win the Heisman. He was very emotional during his acceptance speech and gave thanks to his family and god. Who do you think deserved to win Heisman? Do you think Mark Ingram deserved the trophy?

Cincinnati pulls through again!

The Bearcats pull through again to win their biggest win of the year. Cincinnati struggled to harness the pressure Pittsburg brought Saterday. The first half Pittsburg was up by 14 points and maintained the lead until halftime. Cincinnati was able to cut their defisit to seven points. Cincinnati raallied in the fourth quarter to come back in the final seconds of the game and clench the Big East crown. As the time ticked down within a minute Pike was able to connect with Gilyard to win the game 45-44.
Now that Cincinnati won they are going to the Sugar Bowl against Florida. These are two amazing teams that have colossal talent and its going to be a very competetive game. Who do you think will win?

BCS Champion!

Alabama is the new 2009 BCS champions. The championship was Florida vs. Alabama and it was a tough game for both teams. Alabama came out strong and made it difficult for Florida's offense to do anything. Alabama only allowed Florida to score 13 the whole game and Alabama ran over Florida by scoring 32 points and winning the game 32-13. I think Alabam deserved to win by their performance in this game. They came out with a winning attitude and played their hearts out and it show in their win over Florida. Do you think Alabama deserved to win? If so why?

Week 14!!

This saturday is going to be week 14 of the NCAA football season. This is the week of big match and difficult games. This weekend is going to be an interesting one. I predict their are gona be some big upsets and amazing plays.

Some of the big match ups are: 7 Oregon vs. 16 Oregon St., 1 Florida vs. 2 Alabama, and 5 Cincinnati vs. 15 Pittsburg. I think Oregon will win their game, Alabama theirs, and i think Pittsburg will upset Cincinnati. Who do you think will win these games?

Wake up Call for Oklahoma

Alabama faced a scare Saturday when facing unranked Auburn. Auburn has had an average year will seven wins and five loses. Alabama went into this game cocky and thought they were going to win with ease. They soon found out Auburn wasn't going easy. Auburn started off the first quarter by scored two touchdowns and not giving any points.
Alabama had to regroup after the first quarter with a strategy to come back. The second quarter Alabama came back by setting the score even 14-14. As the clock ticked down Alabama was down by a touchdown. With 1:46 second left Alabama scored a touchdown to futher win the game and stay undefeated.
This week Alabama is facing number one Florida for the SEC championship game. If Alabama doesn't bring their A game they could face an upset. This is the biggest game of the season for Alabama and this will determine weather or not they go to the National Championship.

Cincinnati has come a long ways..

The bearcats started the NCAA season unranked. Currently they are ranked number five in the nation. After the win last week again West Virginia they are also currently undefeated. This season they have been lead by senior quarterback Tony Pike. This season he has thrown 17 touchdown so far and has thrown for almost 1700 yards. Their running back Isaiah Pead has helped carry the team this year with eight touchdowns and over 600 yards this season. Next week Cincinnati is playing unranked Illinois. Who do you think will win?

Rutgers win!

Last Thursday night the Scarlet Knights prepared themselves to play The bulls. USF came into this game expected an easy victory but the Rutgers came prepared. They went all out in this game. They shut out USF 31-0. This was USF first game in 13 years they have been shut out during the regular season. USF couldn't go anywhere with the high pressure Rutgers defense and powerful offense. The Rutgers freshman QB Tom Savage threw for two touchdowns and 194 yards. The knights defense forced four turn overs and blocked a punt. Do you think the Rutgers deserve to be national ranked with their record of 7-2?

Iowa Upset!

Undefeated Iowa suffered a crucial loss to Northwestern. As the first quarter rolled by Iowa was winning 10-0. The second quarter Iowa had a defensive break down. They allowed 14 unaswered pionts. As Iowa's offense struggled to gain yard they went no where, for the rest of the game. In the final seconds of the game Nothwestern sealed they game with a 70 yard drive that lead to a field goal and a final score of 17-10. Do you think Iowa deserved to win or did their perfomance deserve the loss?

Big game for McCoy!

In week nine of the NCAA season, number 3 Texas played number 14 Oklahoma State. This was the biggest game of the season for Texas. They had to win this game to secure a place in the National Championship. McCoy threw for 171 yards and threw his 100th touchdown pass of his college career.
McCoy has had a fantastic season this year so far and as of right now i think he will be elagable for the Heisman trophy. Last season he won the Heisman over Bradford and Tebow, after leading his team to a 15-1 season. Do you think McCoy will win the Heisman trophy again this year?

Big weekend for LSU fans!

This week number 9 LSU is playing at Alabama. Alabama is currently undefeated and ranked number three in the nation. LSU was beaten by number one Gators in week 6. LSU is an increadible team with a good running game and passing game. They need to be able to step up their game in order get past Alabama's tough defence. Alabama is going to come out strong and defeat is not in their mind. Alabama is coming to win, right now they are undefeated and aren't planning on changes that.
These teams are both very talented and should be a very exciting game. I personally want LSU to win because they are the underdog. Alabama is a great team but their performances over the last couple of weeks have been poor. Who do you think will win this game?

Sam Bradford

Sam Bradford is the quarterback for the Oklahoma Sooners. His preformance of the 2008 season enabled him to win the Heisman trophy. This year when Oklahoma played Texas Sam Bradford took a hard hit from one of texas's lineman and suffered a shoulder injury. When Bradford went to the doctor he found out he had a sprained AC joint in his shoulder. This past week he had surgury and is expected to be out for the rest of the season. Sam Bradford expect for his shoulder to heal and enter the NFL draft in 6 months. How do you think Sam Bradford will do in the NFL?

Virginia Tech!

Tyrod Taylor is the starting Quarterback for Virginia Tech. He has done a fantastic job this year leading his team to a record of 5-2. If he preforms to his fullest this week they will get the win over North Carolina. He is a talented quarterback and with his ablility to throw downfield and make major plays i think he has a future in the NFL.

This Thursday kicks off with my favorite team in the NCAA right now, Virginia Tech. Right now Virginia Tech is ranked 14 in the nation. Two weeks ago they were upset by 19th ranked Georgia Tech. Virginia Tech is a great team and if they play the way the played again Miami they will destroy North Carolina this Thursday.

Bad day for UM fans.

At 3:30 every UM fan at Landshark Stadium was ready to watch University of Miami play Clemson. Seeing how the season has been going great so far, everyone expected UM to destroy unranked Clemson. As the first quarter blew by, the fans in Landshark Stadium were eager for Miami to put some pionts on the scored board. Going into half time the scoredboard read 14-10 Clemson.
Coming out strong in the third quarter UM drove all the way downfield for a touchdown to put Miami up 17-14. For the rest of the game Clemson and Miami were neck in neck. In the final minutes of the game Miami led 34-31. Clemson drove down field with little time left and managed to tie up the game with a field goal. Miami started off the overtime by scoring a field goal. Clemson responds by scoring a TD winning the game 40-37.

This game was a dissapiontment to all UM fan. I was actually happy they lost though. I stongly dislike UM. UM has had good year and a lot of bad years. They are not consistant in their game play and when they start doing very good they become to cocky and lose a stupid game. The clemson game is a perfect example. They are ranked number 10 and they come to the game expecting Clemson to throw down a rug and give them the win.

USF Defeated!

The Bulls started out the season with a 5-0 start again opponents such as FSU, Western Kentucky, and Wofford. Their dreams of staying a ranked team were crushed when Syracuse brought their A game to play. USF led the first quarter 7-3 when B.J Daniels threw a 30 yard pass  to Jessie Hester for a touchdown. In the second quarter of the game Syracuse stepped up and managed to score two touchdowns, leading USF 17-7. On the last play of the half USF kicked a field goal lessening their deficit to 17-10.
The second half didn't look to exceptional for the Bulls either. Seven minutes in the Bearcats scored another TD increasing their lead 24-10. With time running out in the third quarter the Bulls drove the ball downfield leading to BJ Daniels running it in for a one yard TD. The forth quarter was a downer. Syracuse came out strong scoring within two minutes of the quarter. From their things went down hill. USF gave up stupid fouls and started playing sloppy. USF spirits were crushed when Jake Rogers put the finishing touches on the game by kicking a field goal putting Syracuse up 34-17. I think USF could have played a better game but Syracuse played an excellent game and their performance defiantly deserved the win.
